  1. I love natural medicine. In this case “nature” medicine. There are no bad side effects. I usually ride up to the beach on my day off to get my fix. I can’t wait for the fall when it cools down enough to take a walk through the nature trail in the park.

  4. Hey! Those wattle blooms have wings! Nature is the best medicine… spent all day with CH at the hospital because he was having a routine medical procedure. Could hardly wait to get back to The Tiny Ten. He slept when we got back and I sat under the oaks and just soaked it all in. Love your pictures Bev. Can’t imagine looking out and seeing a flock of cockatoos! It’s 4:18 AM here and I am listening to the rain hitting the roof.. Ah.

  5. What great photos…..we feel like we see a lot of wildlife around here but it’s just nothing compared with yours! As this area has built up more the wildlife is fading back into the woods…….except for the deer – they know there are plenty of tender gardens to visit!

    Hugs, Pam

    • Those deer certainly love your Azalea buffet! and it’s such a shame when we crowd the wildlife out..but it does happen all over the world..i would love to see some deer here but in the wrong area for it and thankyou for the lovely compliment Pam 🙂 hugs Bev xx

  6. I agree Bev! Nature is the BEST medicine. Altho’ it is raining on & off here the pigeons & sparrows are ground feeding & just watching them is a tonic for my bruised soul.
I saw “Hibby Hop” the wee Sparrow from last year & I have not stopped smiling!! Such a tiny little bird yet I have a H-U-G-E 🙂 on my face!!
    Nature is wonderful….
Even the rain is lovely! 😉

  9. Today I have been trying to catch up on blogs & replies. I took a break & was at the patio door about to go out & there was HippyHop sitting on the other side of the door on the ledge. I spoke to him & he tilted his head this way & that & listened. There is somethign so soothing about Nature.
Tonite the Sparrows are in the Cedar tree singing & it is lovely to be serenaded by them 🙂

  11. Cleaning is cathartic for me; helps me feel focused & in control (which we know is just an illusion, hahaha).
Yesterday was the 3rd day of our ‘weekend’; jus tbecause we could.
Today was Vet visti with Nylablue (who behaved MUCH better) & tp Pet Valu for cat food & catnip & toys for the ‘Queen’.
We are then housebound for rest of week as heat detectors are being installed…..they started at south end of hallway so I am hoping they get to me tomorrow or Thursday…I had to reschedule groceries & Shelter visit as I will not leave Nylablue alone knowing strangers are coming into the apt. We have been told if we are not home they are coming in…..what if one is in the shower or on the ‘throne’?? I do not want Nylablue upset so I will stay in til the men get o our place & then wer are out on patio!
    It’s always something 😉
    Love S-E. & NB ❤ ❤

  12. There is no longer respect for tenants. We are told what will happen. there are no tenant meetings & if one calls Property Manager she might call you back…
We know there are things to be done but it is the way they go about it that irks the tenants, Plus the memo said 24 hours notice & the people at other end of halleay from me had the Tech guy at their place 2 HOURS later…We need heat detectors like we need another left foot….this is ridiculous…
If they would not let drunks & addicts & mentally challenged in plus update the wiring there would not be a need for so many detectors….*sighs*
I hope you can rescue the Portulaca plants; I love them….they do not do well here in Witner tho’.
Have fun with the wash too….I was going to do some tomorrow but not going to happen. At least I can go another week if needed b4 needing to do laundry…
    Have a wonderful day!
    Love you madly, Sherri-Ellen ❤ ❤

    • Well that’s just plain bad management…full stop…urghhhh I think the Portulacas are cactus hahaah the one I am worried about is the Jacaranda tree…damn..oh well..i will sort it out in time for summer to burn it with heat..hahahahahaha 🙂 I will have a great day..the fence is finished!! at last and now the clean up…so must away…chat soon darling..have a great night loves to you and Nylablue 🙂 <3<3 ❤

  13. No management as far as I am concerned. The place is going to H*LL in a handcart. I & many others feel like we are in an institution. It is not a pleasant way to feel about one’s home.
I love the night time now. Darkness is my friend more & more. Just sitting with Nylablue & being in the moment; no people talking outside or cars zooming in & out or workmen….
I hope the Portulacas survive & yes they are succulents which is part of cacti family 😉 (Whose a clever girl??)
I also hope the Jacaranda tree will be all right…..fingers crossed!!
Hurrah the fence is done! Wonderful news!!!!!!!!!
Have a wonderful day & pace yourself ok????
