Early night

Well I am off to have an early night..i have my new computer slowly getting sorted..i did a post then realised all my pictures are on the other computer..urghh..I haven’t got the energy for getting them transferred over..this old body is not playing nice.
I will try and get it sorted tomorrow..fresh eyes (hmmmm) may help.

I do know this the fact I finally have an appointment with a Rheumatologist at the end of next month is filling me with joy!

Seems more things are dropping off and not quite working as they should and it is starting to take it’s toll..i am getting cranky..well crankier bwahaha.

My eyes are getting worse and my eyelids now are covered in blotches which are incredibly sore..making my eyes tired and in turn making me tired.
My stomach has been playing up since Friday and the stomach cramps are no fun.
My joints are aching and funny I watched Misery the other night and oddly enough could empathise with the hobbling she gave him as my ankles feel as if they are splitting..the rash across my cheeks and bridge of my nose has lessened into dry and scaly blotches an attractive look indeed!
And to add to my fun I had a huge weepy sore on my scalp today..hooley dooley..

The constant feeling of a low grade fever and headache today has really put me in a mood….

On the plus side whichever kitty had the poosplosions on the weekend has not had then since we gave them all a boiled chicken weekend…thankyou!

So off to bed for me…I have many more posts to do for our little guest Bashful

but they will have to wait as I just cannot get the energy right now to get the computer stuff sorted..here I go complaining again..how boring…sorry guys..just feel pretty damn deflated and needing to just get this specialist visit done to get to the bottom of all this..

Autoimmune diseases are such a mystery and sadly too little money is put into researching them..and to even find a Rheumatologist here privately or publicly is stupidly hard…
Luckily I have a great GP who has admitted we need a specialist as I have a few autoimmune issues crossing over each other..as they do..and it needs to be sorted…
I am thankful for him as I had one GP many years ago when all this started as good as tell me I was depressed and lazy!

I am not depressed or lazy..i am irritated that I cannot do the things I love because my body lets me down!..urghhh complaining again..boring…ok I am out of here..i think I may have one picture I can share ..

How I have missed this..

From a great height

Ok my head has been sore since last Saturday..i had a mini meltdown…Pickles had an operation and there is work to be done outside..i have caught up on some blogs but not all and I do apologise..you know the best cure has been getting out in nature..headache or not I feel better..today was no exception..

As I lay on the ground in the back paddock..camera in hand sun in my dried out eyeballs I looked to the heavens…..

You know that saying that you feel you have been ‘sh*t on from a great height’

Well when it’s an eagle it looks like a litre of white paint headin your way..
Summed up my week perfectly..and made me laugh my head off…

A million miles away

There are days I wish I was a million miles away..nothing bad is happening …no real reason..just the day and the mood.

I wonder how honest most people are with themselves….or others…

The reason for the mood this morning is really nothing..that’s right..just woke up and thought urghhh.

Some days I don’t really feel like I am in the zone…I am sure some peeps will think I am complaining and really i’m not..i just pondered as I replaced the kitty litter trays for the second time..and cleaned a patch of pee that one of the girls had left on the bedroom carpet.. just how many of us have those days.

The usual shenanigans at brekkie time.. watching Dinnermintz  doesn’t eat what Pickles  has left because she is off her food, being barked at for not hurrying with the morning meal…stopping Marbles  smacking Cleo because she has woken in a mood too.

The fires out again…cleaning up the ash and dragging more wood in has no allure this morning.. if I don’t, despite the day being warm, it will be cold in here tonight.

Forrest wants to go out the front.. he is not allowed.. he digs up my garden looking for kitty nuggets..so I let him out the back.. meanwhile a baby bunny is running around in the front yard..so off to scare him off.. come back in Forrest is barking…he wants in..again..

I go to make the bed.. i forget the cat bowl was out and Dinnermintz  on a diet decides she will go for it..

I hear her collar on the bowl and bolt out and put it away.

Forrest barks.. he wants out..again..i feel like a “door bitch” as they call them at clubs.. opening closing doors all day.

Back to making the bed…which hurts my back due to weeding yesterday on rough stones…awesome.

Phone rings.. telemarketer.. ah…no.. dishes done.. the Pickles  has decided she wants her food so out with the bowl again.. while Dinnermintz  keeps vigil..so I stand and wait.

She eats a bit..i put her bowl away again.. Forrest barks.. he wants in.. again…I let him in..someone has just used the trays..so another tray change..

Dishes now…from the brekky I could not eat in peace..one cat wanting to push into my plate and steal my toast..one dog wanting out..one cat trying to start a blue with another one..

A load of washing out…one in ..rubbish  emptied.. ready to go in the bin…

Forrest wants out…………..again………….the fire is well and truly out…need to go gather some kindling….keeping an eye out for snakes.. and then clean the firebox and start a fire.. big wood is in the trailer right at the back…means pulling the smaller pieces forward and that is great on the back too.

The shower and both bathrooms need cleaning. floors need sweeping and vaccuming..

Forrest is in again…and asleep now…..thankyou….

Quick phone call to mum.. she is busy…quick phone call with my sister.. she is in the same mood..

I have more weeding to do..i just can’t find the mojo.. but  I will..

When people say how lovely we have all this land I agree.. but some days it seems an impossible task to get everything done .Phil got most of the snake mesh stapled to the outside of the back fence yesterday.. we hear the burn off restrictions may come in in October…sheesh..

Great Forrest wants out.. and I can smell the litter tray..again…

I love my life..i love my animals and my home but today…all i can think of is running away..to a place where there are no litter trays.. where I can eat a meal without interruptions ..where if  open a door it is because I am heading out to have some fun….anyone who has not had children I can tell you this is what it is like to be a parent.. the commitment the time the sometimes mundane and monotonous the routine of life with pets is just the same.

I wonder how many pet owners will be disgusted with my attitude today? I wonder how many pet owners will fess up and admit there are days they are tired.. days they think it is all too hard.

I will never regret having pets and I know I have made a promise to them for life..i am happy to go without and to sacrifice for them..my choice.. and I adore them.. but some days I wish I was a million miles away.. and I know if I was I would miss them and pine for them and want to be with them.

For today I am here.. and I just have to get on with it.. tomorrow is a new day…

 

 

WEEK OFF FOR THE WEATHER

ALL GOOD HERE FOLKS..DUE TO THE SEVERE FIRE WEATHER THIS WEEK I WILL ONLY BE POPPING IN BRIEFLY AS IF I HAVE TO DROP THINGS I WILL…A RESTLESS NIGHT WITH LIGHTNING STRIKES STARTING FIRES AROUND THE AREA BUT DUE TO OUR AMAZING FIRIES AND EMERGENCY SERVICES ALL IS WELL..THE LIGHTNING SHOW WAS AMAZING BUT VERY LITTLE RAIN IN IT AND AN EXTREMELY STRONG WIND HAD OUR MOBILE PHONE APPS CONSTANTLY BUZZING WITH FIRE ALERTS..TEMPS DID NOT REALLY GET BELOW ABOUT 26 INSIDE AND AFTER A DAY IN THE MID FORTIES WE ARE PRETTY TIRED..THE PETS ARE ALL TIRED TOO AND UNSETTLED..THE PUPS DID NOT REST UNTIL I LET THEM IN OUR OOM WHICH MADE THE ROOM EVEN MORE STIFLING AAAAAGH..TODAY WE ARE EXPECTING ANOTHER DAY OF ABOUT 44 45 AND THE SAME TOMORROW AND FRIDAY..FRIDAY BEING THE DAY TO WATCH ACCORDING TO THE CFA…WE HAVE NOT HAD A WEEK LIKE THIS SINCE THE WEEK BEFORE BLACK SATURDAY LUCKILY WE ARE NOT COMING OFF THE BACK OF 13 YEARS OF DROUGHT BUT THE BUSH IS READY TO BURN..SO I WILL POP ON WHEN I CAN AND STILL TRY AND VISIT EVERYONE BUT IT’S A BUSY TIME.

2.I HAVE OFFICIALLY TAKEN OVER AS BRANCH SECRETARY FOR THE LOCAL CWA……LET THE PAPERWORK BEGIN…AND BEGIN ..AND BEGIN..YOU GET THE IDEA

3.DUE TO THE ABOVE I HAVE THREE DIFFERENT SETS OF MINUTES TO PREPARE AND ALSO THE SYLLABUS FOR THE YEAR….BRING ON THE HAND CRAMP

4.XMAS IS TWO AND A HALF MINUTES AWAY AND AS YET I HAVE NOT DONE THE MENU FOR 12

5.THANKGOODNESS I MADE AN EXTRA XMAS PUDDING LAST YEAR WHICH IS GETTING EVEN MORE BOOZE POURED ON IT IN THE LEAD UP TO XMAS LUNCH

6.THE GARDEN GOT OUT OF HAND DUE TO THE WEDDING AND THE LEAD UP SO I HAVE SPENT THE DAY GOING BETWEEN PRUNING FOR SNAKE SEASON AND ROASTING IN THE SUN  TO THEN COMING IN TO GET BACK TO PAPERWORK WHILE I COOL DOWN..

7.PICKLES MEANTIME HAD A VET TRIP AS SHE WAS LETHARGIC AND NOT EATING..ALL IS FINE SHE JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE ANY MONEY LEFT AFTER PAYING FOR THE WEDDING WAS GOTTEN RID OF…

8.I STILL HAVE MINUTES TO TYPE UP……..REALLY …MANNNNN

9.CLEO JUST WALKED INTO MY SEWING ROOM AS I TYPE TO SHOW ME SHE HAS A WINKY EYE..SUPER ..REFER TO NUMBER 7.

10.I HAVE A BOWL OF FRUIT SOAKING IN ALCOHOL TO MAKE A XMAS CAKE TOMORROW

11.I HAVE TO FINISH THIS PAPERWORK TOMORROW AS I NEED IT MONDAY

12MONDAY I NEED NOT ONLY THE PAPERWORK BUT A PLATE WITH 3-4 (DON’T ASK ME I HAVE NO IDEA WHY ON THE NUMBER) BISCUITS DECORATED FOR XMAS TO TAKE TO THE MEETING WHERE THE PAPERWORK IS DUE..WHICH MEANS I AM MAKING BISCUITS TOMORROW AS WELL

13 I HAVE A MEETING ON THURSDAY WHERE THE MINUTES NEED TO BE HANDED IN AND MORE MINUTES TAKEN ON THE DAY FOLLOWED BY LUNCH WITH MY LADIES (I STILL NEED TO GET A KRIS KRINGLE PRESENT AND A BIRTHDAY PRESENT FOR ONE OF THE LADIES)

14.ON FRIDAY THE PRESIDENT (OF MY CWA BRANCH NOT THE USA ) THE TREASURER AND MYSELF HAVE BEEN ASKED TO ATTEND A COUNCIL FUNCTION

15.I HAVE SOME BLOGGIE POSTS AND PICS I NEED TO TEND TO, SOME AWARDS ALSO FROM LOVELY FRIENDS ,PICS TO GET SORTED ON MY COMPUTER (THOUSANDS) AND ON AND ON…

16.I NEED TO GET A GRIP..IT WILL ALL FALL INTO PLACE….
