I am going to shut my computer down tonight..the terrible fires that have been ravaging South Australia have sadly taken the lives of many animals at a boarding facility.
Having just picked our babies up yesterday this has been the most tragic of news.
They have lost an entire cattery of cats and managed to save 40 dogs..but many many dogs have perished as well…I am devastated for the animals..the pet owners and the boarding staff who must be feeling totally devastated at the loss of not only all those in their care but their home and business.
As yet the cause is still unknown for the source of this bushfire…
My heart and soul is so sad..as it could also just as easily have been my boys and girls..a lot of hurt in South Australia today..
Please spare a purr and prayer for all affected as we are still not out f the woods in South Australia or Victoria.
This beautiful country can be a cruel mistress.
AN AGRICULTURAL SHOW LAST YEAR HAD ME IN MY ELEMENT..I ADORE THESE MINIATURE HORSES AND THEIR GIANT CLYDESDALE FRIENDS…AFTER SNAPPING AWAY ALL DAY THEY ASKED MY HUBBY IF I WANTED TO TOUR WITH THEM FOR SIX WEEKS TO CAPTURE PICTURES OF THE HORSES..APPARENTLY PICTURES OF THEM DISPLAYING THEIR INDIVIDUAL MOODS IS QUITE POPULAR! IN PARTICULAR IF THEY DECIDE THEY HAVE THEIR OWN PLANS! WHICH THEY ALL DID..I MUST CONFESS I DO LOVE IT WHEN THEY HAVE A TANTRUM! ..THESE BEAUTIFUL CREATURES WERE ALL VERY WELL LOVED AND CARED FOR AND AT NO TIME WERE THEY TREATED POORLY…JUST THERE TO SHOW OFF HOW LOVELY THEY WERE..PLEASE ENJOY THE CHARACTERS THAT I MET..I SPOKE TO NEARLY ALL OF THEM AND THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL! …AND IT WAS TEMPTING TO GO OFF IN A HORSE FLOAT AND WHILE AWAY SIX WEEKS WITH THESE DARLINGS 🙂
On a recent holiday i spotted (as i usually do) a seagull missing a foot.I am always amazed at how animals adapt in the wild to injury ,i find myself wondering how they manage, how they fit in socially..of course i always feel for them..it’s the nature of me.In a perfect world i suppose everyone and everything would be fine.Feeling for all creatures should be normal to all of us but sadly it isn’t..so i will just keep enjoying what nature has and i will always be feeling for those creatures that fill our world with color and joy…meanwhile this seagull really just wants to know what i am staring at! Love his face 🙂
