Seems Mother Nature has forgotten Spring…as beautiful as Spring is i have found this extended Winter brings it’s own beauty..
A mere 15 minutes away from home and i can find a reason to be thankful ..i can stop on a road and capture the glorious landscape..
I can breathe in the cool fresh air..see the clouds and mist gently envelope the mountainside and feel free..
- It has been brought to my attention..thankgoodness..by my friend from MELBOURNE Leanne Cole that indeed we have winter until first of September..no idea why i got it in my head it was Spring..i was sure i heard somewhere it was…Holiday ..STAT! π
Even though it’s been a hard winter, good to hear you can still see it’s beauty.

I agree..usually with Spring we have two days of it then bang stinking summer..then bang straight to winter…yikes..my eyes today from the bitter wind again are sore red running and dry…i stopped to get a take away coffee for myself and Fozziedad on my way home from my jaunt and i am sure the guy thought i had been crying…not that he really cared hahaaah π xxx

at least it was a try to get the coffee for free :o) I always have a thermos flask with tea on board when we are on tour in fall or winter, that’s so much “granny style” but it really helps and it’s better than the coffee they sell here :o)

hAHAH yep we usually do too and i have snacks and things as well as a fold out chair ..true granny style…but the nursery/butterfly house is 3 minutes from home on the way and the coffee is great..the dude today must me new..had all the personality of a turnip…:)

that are the moments we wish we had a horse instead of a car… the turnips would land at the right place immediately :O)

We thought that maybe you start Spring a month early Down Under, so we didn’t say anything – we were kinda jealous though *BOL*. That picture looks as if it could’ve been taken in Ireland there is so much green – so pretty.

Your pictures never fail to amaze me in their beauty my friend. Such beauty. I’m with you on the change of the seasons STAT! Here of course, it is Summer. Summer is one of my least favorite seasons. I’m not one for heat and in the south with the heat and adding in the humidity factor – I’m done. I really need some cooler weather. Mom does to. Do you hear that Mother Nature? XOXO – Bacon

What a gorgeous landscape, Bev! The mist creeping in on the tree-lined ridge is positively magical.
Glad to hear it’s not really Spring there yet. Because if it were, it would be Fall here. We love the Fall, but after that comes Winter (not our favorite). π

I saw a picture on the internet today of a little Roo hugging a teddy bear as his comfort as they were trying to reintroduce him into the wild. I thought of the Roo you said looked hungry and alone by himself. I thought of you also. The last time I visited, you had said you felt you had nothing to offer and we taking a blogging break. Glad to see you are finding joy again.

Well, I don’t blame you for thinking it’s Spring Bev. Around here it’s been getting warmer as well. Still chilly in the mornings and at night and of course my hayfever and sinus are doing their rounds, so it must have Spring fever as well. LOL!

hahahaha! Sounds like someone else also wishes it’s Spring already. Well, with the weather getting warmer it just could as well be. I don’t mind the cold and do prefer it above the heat, but it sure is more fun in Spring and Summer. My spider friends don’t go in hiding. Mind you, I also hibernate in winter. LOL!
You’re very welcome. β₯ Huge Hugs β₯ to you as well and thanks for mine. π
