The countdown begins


Hi folks..well what a few weeks or months we have had here..yard work…and sick animals.. Well the good news is that Pickles and Marbles have both responded brilliantly to the Covenia shots and have ceased the pee patrol..the weird news is they must have passed it on to me…oh yeah ouchie..I have at least stopped short of going on the floor…although my poor old kidneys are aching a treat..so I have been guzzling water like nobodies business.. Tonight Fozziedad and I got home and when we got the girls sorted for dinner….Yep Dinnermintz is limping…arghhhhh she is on my bed and hissed at me when I went to check her paw (which looks fine) so here we go..Marbles needs a re visit check up this week and Forrest gets his bloods and annual vacc’s done also…may as well fill my stocking with coal now bwhahahaah. But I have great friends I can talk to here..people who know the ups and downs of life with pets..well of life full stop really… I want to thank Bacon for not only a beautiful post for our 32nd Anniversary but a wonderful package in the snail mails..btw I see that the mail took the same time to get to Australia from the USA as it did to get to France to Easy..bizarre.. Thankyou my sweet friend.. I have been twerkin for Australia bwahahahaha…

And the FOZZIE toy is just adorable 🙂 the squeak drives the pups mad bwahaa..as for that Sucker…I am not game yet and Fozziedad has said NO WAY hahaha….but he loves his T-shirts too…huge hugs my friend for a surprise that made a bad week better 🙂

And so I am off ..the bladder of death is paining me..i have my last class tomorrow..i have to hand in my final piece..i think it is alright.. The xmas tree needs to be set up tonight and I am sweating like nobody’s business..either the humidity..the hormones (which have been annoying me..awesome) or my kidneys… All I can say is thank goodness here in blogville friends forgive my tardiness and haphazard blogging style..hugs Fozziemum

  2. Bev my dear friend you are lurching from one disaster to the next these days!!! We need you AND the animals to be HEALTHY for Christmas! I know you go a mile a minute year ’round but maybe especially during the holidays…..so try to take it easy, hopefully the bladder/kidney thing will be gone quickly – here’s hoping the vet and doctors visits go well and everyone can be in great shape for the holiday……………………….we send you lots of hugs – sometimes that’s better than medicine!!

  8. ha, Bacons dad beat even TWO scorpion kings and locked them in a lollipop! Wow! Maybe we can eat the scorpion-treat together on christmas day… oh naaah wait… better we eat them successive, so one of us can call the emergency dogtor :o)… just in case…. I hope you feel better soon, such kidney-and bladder-issues are sneaky sometimes :o(

  19. My goodness the anipals have had a good dose of the sickness bucket. You started drinking out of it too! Now, cut it out Fozziemum. We need you healthy and strong. Wasn’t that nice of Bacon and Easy…it’s a long way for mail to go. Now you take care of the family for us….we want you healthy and out taking pictures of the wildlife.

  27. Christmas tree?? How about going to a Doctor to get yourslef checked out my friend?? You will UNDER the tree if you do not take care of yourself & not as P’s gift either!! You would give me some jip for not going to the Doctor…which I did go to last Thursday 😉
    I am worried about you Bev! Please take care of yourself ok?
    I am thrilled the girls responded to the Convenia & are doing better. Hopefully Miss Sore Paw is all right too???

    • All good mum 🙂 I have been drinking cranberry juice and heaps of water..feelbetter now..Dinnermintz is hardly limping at all so must have caught her claw..wish me kuck they need trimming again….tree is done and now just some random odd jobs…yikes..always fun 🙂 you look after you too my sweets Much loves Bev xxx <3<3

  28. I know, I KNOW I am a bit OTT at the moment! I just worry about you esp when you are on your own with only the 4 leggeds. I am glad the cranberry juice & water are flushing your system & you are feeling better….
    Also very relieved Dinnermintz was not seriously injured. It’s always something isn’t it???
    My friend Cathy came to take me & the 6 loads of laundry over to Laundromat. I got it ALL done & then we zipped up to grocery store for bread & cheese. Got back home & put 1/2 laundry away & sorted what was useable for any new cat that might happen my way……
    Then collapsed ina heap for an hour & woke myself snoring….
    I have to go out tomorrow & get Nylablue’s ashes & find out why the bill is so freaking high & do some banking. Supposed to do steaming of NB’s pedestal bed too…
    I am then taking the next 4 days off & resting as I am close to flare-up & Sinuses giving me ”jip” again!!

  30. O.K. I am definitely concerned about something that you and the girls have been exposed to now. It is way too unusual of a coincidence that all three of you got an UTI. Glad that Dinnermintz toe is better 🙂 Hope you all are about done with this silliness! 🙂

  33. TGIF>>>> my sinuses are settled down! The cleaning * steaming & laundry all done.
    Now I am in a Fibro flare-up & pulled something in my lower back….Just ate & took my Codeine. It is going to be a rest-full weekend whether I like it or not! 😉
    Wed nite I wept for 2+ hrs holding both ashboxes….I am feeling alot calmer now & no longer fragile. Just miss Nylablue like I do Mingflower….
    The place is so quiet w/out her 😉
