From a great height


Ok my head has been sore since last Saturday..i had a mini meltdown…Pickles had an operation and there is work to be done outside..i have caught up on some blogs but not all and I do apologise..you know the best cure has been getting out in nature..headache or not I feel better..today was no exception..

As I lay on the ground in the back paddock..camera in hand sun in my dried out eyeballs I looked to the heavens…..

You know that saying that you feel you have been ‘sh*t on from a great height’

Well when it’s an eagle it looks like a litre of white paint headin your way..
Summed up my week perfectly..and made me laugh my head off…

Excuse the quality of the picture..even Brutus cannot outsmart the blue sky great heights and sun glare..

  1. wow what a photo! sell it to national geographics :o) but I bet the one who wears the eagle-blessing on his head will win in the lottery, that’s the hardcore version of “stepping in poo” so it must be a sign of good luck :o) I hope your head will be better soon, hope it’s not that kind of pain what’s even resistant to 1000mg acetaminophen :o(

    • Hahahahh thanks Easy..i could not believe it…looked like a can of whote paint being thrown down bwahaaah most of it disappeared quickly so all I got was a little of it…and yes if that had hit me I would be knocked out bwahaaah..there was a water bird flying nearby I hope he didn’t cop it 😉 and yes I would be sure to win a million dollars had it hit me..i have never seen anything like it ! pity the pic is not that good 😦 and yes the headache is resistant to everything…my bp is up a bit so I might go to the drs next week..i am sick of waking up with it..mind you staring into the sun for pics doesn’t help bwhahaaha 🙂 loves Fozziemum xx

  2. Oh dearie me…..well I think maybe having a good laugh and some fresh air might have been the BEST medicine although Imitrex works for me (migraines) !! Not sure what I’d do if I saw big pile of “you know what” falling at me from up above but seeing that beautiful eagle who dropped the bomb might have been worth it????!!!!

    • Hahaha love it !! indeed it sure made me laugh..i would have looked a sight indeed ..so high up I was pretty safe..but this week it seemed to just sum it up…nature..always my best medicine 🙂 ❤ ❤

  9. Look at all that pooh! Talk about dropping a load…haha. Apparently if you do get crawped on, its suppose to be good luck. I think they just say that cause it’ll make you feel a little better, even when you’re covered white cwap all over your hairs. I am so happy you are tarting to feel better…those migraines are awful or so I hear.

  12. A bird pooping on you is considered good luck in Ireland – for the life of me I can’t think why! Hope it least had the benefit of helping the head. Best of luck to Pickles, too.

  13. Okay, I know it’s not really funny but I can’t stop laughing. Brought back a memory when I was about six years old and was standing on my neighbors front door stoop to show them my new Easter outfit and new Easter hat. Yep, I cried so hard while my poor Mom tried consoling me and telling me it could be cleaned up. Those birds just know! I hope you get your headaches cleared up. They’re not fun. Mine come and go and I’ve pretty much learned to live with em. sigh… Hope you’re having a good weekend in spite! Hugs!

    • I know ..only me Kelly….bahahahahaha….I must be the poo whisperer.. yep a massage sounds great..bp has been up a bit and considering I am on two different meds for it best I get it checked this week so I will go see the Dr mum 😉 xxxx

  23. Wow! That had to have been quite a sight! Bless your heart. ♥ I am so sorry that you have had such a week. Migraines are wretched. My son suffered from them as a child, but thankfully outgrew them for the most part. Feel better soon. ☺

    • M.K. it sure was…and the sun was boring a hole in my head and then splat..hahaahahah..migraines are horrid..luckily this is just a now 8 day long head ache urghhhh…I have had meningitis twice and I think I am kind of used to them..but this I think is high BP ..so I will get it checked…thankyou my sweets and glad your son grew out of them they are not nice for kids to get at all…hugs Bev xx

    • Wally and Sammy Pickles recovered beautifully from her three toofies being taken out.she is eating well and playing and happy as a lark….my head..pffttt still sore..but i was at the drs today and went off for a CT so i see him Thursday..i hope they found a brain???? that would be a worry hahaahah 🙂 Loves and hugs Fozziemum xx

  37. Oh don’t show me that picture of an eagle. Last Friday I was traumatized on my walk oh it was terrible. Believe me it was not raining poop! I will post about it probably next Monday.
