Giant Orange tabby stalks roos…

Behind the safety glass of the enclosure ..the giant Orange Tabby..or Domesticus Gingus Pluxurious…stalks her prey…as long as she stays in her cosy enclosure the Eastern Grey Kangaroo is safe….for it is no match for the Dinnermintz…..;)

  1. Wow, that must be so much fun for a cat to watch the Roos hop around the yard. Don’t think you want to mess with them though. Have a terrific Thursday.

    • Oh yep! we would have no chance of catching one guys! and yes they don’t so much pack a punch as rip you to bits..they only do ths if cornered or threatened and they have drowned many dogs who have chased them this is why the pups here are not allowed to be roaming on our 11 acres…we can’t risk it and it’s not fair for them to chase and scare them anyway ..but the giant Orange Tabby…she s patient hahaahah šŸ™‚ hugs and loves Fozziemum xx

        • šŸ™‚ and until we moved here I too had only seen them in sanctuaries…and the behaviours are vastly different šŸ™‚ they are here nearly every day and I never get tired of them..hence the squillions of pics of them on this blog hahaah šŸ™‚ and yes tis a nice spot to visit ! šŸ˜‰

          • Yeah. The local zoo in my hometown is more like a sanctuary (Hannover in Germany). I never forget the day I went and tourists complained that they can’t see any animals (huge areas for them so you can’t always see them) lol

            • Haahah I love how people go to see animals an expect them to co operate..i suppose being a cat owner I gave up on that idea ages ago haahha..hubby and I took our twin boys to QLD for their 21st 6 years ago and we went on a whale watch..no certainty the whales would be there..and we were fine with that as the day was glorious anyway..lucky us we had three mums and calves come so close to the boat you could see their eyes looking at you…magic! if we had not seen any it was ok..we had a great day and would have had fun anyway šŸ™‚

                • I can imagine..nothing sadder for the poor things.we also went up to the Great Barrier Reef and took a chopper out to snorkel around..the aerial shots I got of some whales then also made me feel like the luckiest person on earth..what a privilege….I do hope one day you get the chance to see these things…it is a very humbling experience ..:) I may pop some pics up on my bloggie a taste of natures beauty šŸ™‚

  2. The ever pluxurious Dinnermintz has a wonderful spot from which to spy on the roos! Must be great fun for her – all that wildlife within close spying distance! It’s a good thing she’s not out there – the fierce Ginger Domesticus Caticus is dangerous when turned loose to hunt at her leisure!!!! šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚
