The Sweetest thing

I went to the mailbox today and when I saw the little package I got so excited….yes I am a three year old and get very excited by suprises 🙂

When I opened the box….I found the sweetest thing…..I have been sent by the very clever and very sweet Sharon from gentlestitches the most adorable mini me of our much missed Panther boy Simba.Sharon does these wonderful little animals in the style of  Amigurumi which is Japanese crochet of small animals ..she calls her animals Aussiegurumi of course!!

Please pop over and have a look at the wonderful work she has done making these beautiful little creatures!

All I can say is a huge THANKYOU..indeed you did capture Simba beautifully..right down to his stumpy tail 🙂 and his little Rainbow Bridge cushion is such a lovely touch!

Hubby is interstate with work and when I sent him the picture he messaged me saying he got all teary….so thankyou for the beautiful gift ,the wonderful card and sentiment and for the joy of friendship over the bloggie world 🙂 Hugs and lovies to you from us 🙂

  1. I am so glad you liked little Simba Panfur Boy. I had such fun making him. It is a small world because Bacon the little piggie was my first mini me back when I went from classes to designing. I am very happy with the progress and my online shop is just shy of 1500 downloads! Hooray for ravelry. I tell you what Bev, I love doing the gift “no pressure” ones best of all.

  6. I am glad you were given such a thoughtful gift….
I did pop over to GS’s blog & left a few comments & she replied…she sounds like a sweet woman!! Put Nylablue on her prayer list even!
Nylablue has enjoyed ‘her day off’…she was quite confused when I went to get ready to leave…I think she ‘knew’ today was Tuesday….she has slowed down eating a bit but is fine otherwise…so we shall see what happens the rest of the week…

She has slowed down a bit in eating but has been playful & bossy today…I hope she stays satble until Tuesday…just so she can have some time w/out being stuck with needles.
