RARE SIGHTING

Morning all..i had a rare sighting this morning….

THE RARE TABBY BIRD

THE RARE TABBY BIRD

Unbelievable I know!! I rushed to action…concerned I may scare it away…what a sighting!!

WHAT A SIGHTING

WHAT A SIGHTING

The Tabby cat bird is unaware I have crept up on it..she is a beauty!!ย  The Tabby cat bird enjoys the company of other birds, it will frequent watering holes hoping to communicate with them. Well camoflagued it can often be unseen by the other birds it like to seek company with. .this leads to all sorts of problems as the other birds mistake it’s intentionsย  when they see it suddenly and take flight.

The Tabby bird hence gets very little interaction with them…

Like all birds the Tabby cat bird also enjoys the garden.. and can often be seen flicking up the soil ..possibly looking for grubs…as it does so it leaves sweet little mounds all over the garden beds.

RARE AND MOST WELCOMED

RARE AND MOST WELCOMED

Strangely these little mounds draw much interest and excitement from the canine population.. what is it that attracts them so…scientists still wonder at this (as do canine owners) ..what could it be????

I feel so blessed to have had this sighting ..what a beauty and what a welcome visitor to any garden…

Would you agree ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have a great Thursday….

    • Hahahhaha yes she is a big bird! but such a small cat..she was one of my most dramatic rescues and has never really grown into a big cat due to her circumstances…she’s our little Bonsai kitty ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Well you have to admit the Tabby Bird has a rather better chance of meeting other feathered friends while “parked” on the bird bath/fountain. I’d say that’s one VERY smart Tabby Bird you have there!

  3. Those Tabby Birds can be tricky…they are very protective of their turf and will usually chase off all other birds
