All week I have stalked Randall..this has been a chore..you see he is on to me..so every time I was close..he took off..i have sat patiently in my car..looking like a weirdo..he has eluded me ..when I had my camera he was not there ..when I didn’t have my camera ..there he would be…
Finally I got him …i had to pull over to the wrong side of the road..(off the actual road)..and creep across to the passenger seat..sticking myself with the handbrake in the process..slowly wind the window down and start shooting…he is at this every day..you see I think he thinks he has a girlfriend..one that dances like him,opens it’s mouth and talks like him…he just can’t get over his love for this mirror image..
He does this on and off all day everyday…singing and talking..his throat hackles flaring as he does..
What will become of his affair when the bridge works down the road are finished and the grader has left…

Finally!!! was worried I would get arrested as some weirdo…got spotted by one of the neighbours one day..she thought I had broken down..when I told her she just cracked up….oh dear Private eye for hire 😉 Thanks 🙂

Hahahahahaah I feel so tired for him…such dedication..he does have a friend already too…so I am very confused!…he will fly off head to the Apple orchard where they press apples for juice..then go dumpster diving for goodies while his friend hangs out on the roof keeping lookout…strange love affair hahaha 🙂 🙂

Hmm I so get and understand Randall! We have a psychotic Cardinal that has been fighting himself in our North, East and South windows for 2 and a half months. We are pretty tired of him. He starts before daylight and has lost the feathers on his face from hitting the windows. At least Randall seems pleased with the whole thing!

Good grief Pix…we used to get King parrots doing that..had to put window stickers up so they wouldn’t knock themselves out….and indeed Randall seems quite entertained…I wonder when the mirror will break..he has a huge strong beak!!
